A Few More Galaxies Caught by Spitzer
I found a few more gems in the Spitzer archives.
Using the same procedure as I did for my previous images, I, once again used IRAC Map images, with images filtered at the 3.6μm, 4.5μm, 5.8μm and 8.0μm wavelength bands.
I used the same artificial colouring as my previous images, which were then merged.

- Barred spiral galaxy in Ara
- Apparent magnitude: 9.28
- Apparent size: 3.5’ x 2.5’
NGC 3628
- Spiral galaxy in Leo, also known as the Hamburger Galaxy
- Apparent magnitude: 10.2
- Apparent size: 15’ x 3.6’
NGC 3115
- Lenticular galaxy with ring structure in Sextans
- Apparent magnitude: 9.9
- Apparent size: 7.2’ x 2.5’
